How to select your tyres

As trucks will be driven in various road conditions, that also change during the seasons, with routes and loads that often change during the year, it can be difficult to choose the right type of TBR tyres for your fleet.

There are some general points that you will have to keep in mind when trying to make a choice of the right tyres for your fleet.
The points below might be stating the obvious, but they will narrow down the options that you have and make it easier to choose the right tyre for the job.
What position at the truck and trailer the tyre has to go? In other words, what is the use of the tyre? This does determine which pattern of the tyre to select.
What size of tyre do you need and for what rim size are you looking for?
What load capacity single and dual use do you need for the type of goods you are transporting?
What is the maximum speed indication you need? This will differ (K=110km, L=120km, M=130km) for local or highway use.
What road conditions will the vehicle be in? Rough road or not, dry summer or wet winter?
